NME Radar Tour set to hit the road in May headlined by La Roux!

The NME's annual showcase of new music is set to rip through 13 UK towns this May, as the NME Radar Tour takes to the road. Featuring a monster line up of the most inspiring new acts of 2009, the infamous rock 'n' roll outing will be headlined by one of the most talked about new pop starlets on the planet, La Roux - with support from everyone's favourite disco titans Heartbreak, saviours of the indie dance floor Magistrates and Teeside's grizzliest new quartet The Chapman Family.

The NME's New Music Editor Jaimie Hodgson said, "I really don't think we could have asked for a better line-up, and one that more succinctly sums up the breaking artists already making 2009 a truly ridiculous year for great music. It will be the best new music tour of the year, no doubt."

The tour which has famously given a leg up to the likes of Crystal Castles,
White Lies and Friendly Fires will kick off in Nottingham on April 29th ending with a grand finale at London's Koko on May 19th.
