10 Films guaranteed to keep the kids amused this Summer
If you are dreading the arrival of the Summer holidays and the search for things to keep the kids occupied do not fear because come rain or shine a movie is bound to keep the children amused for hours.
We have compiled the top ten films that are out this summer on DVD and in the cinema to keep the kids occupied and give you a chance to put your feet up in peace for five minutes.
10. A top ten list wouldn't be a top ten list without a couple of cult classics and with Robin Williams out and about making new films we thought one that would have the kids laughing for hours is the legendary Mrs Doubtfire.

Out of work father Daniel Hilliard find himself suddenly divorced without custody of his kids. To solve this problem, he disguises himself as an old Scottish nanny to get hired by his ex-wife and be closer to his kids.

When Earth's natural resources began to rapidly diminish, mankind was forced to seek out a new home and build colonies on Mars and Venus. However disaster struck when the two colonies attempted to declare independence from Earth, and the ensuing Great War destroyed all three planets. Now mankind's only hope for survival is to find a new home.
A peaceful and magical planet, Terra is inhabited by a gentle race of extraterrestrials called the Terrians who harbour a deep respect for nature and have no need for war or violence.
But when plans to find a peaceful solution for the humans and Terrians to live in harmony are scuppered by a villainous General, it is only a matter of time before the stage is set for a battle that threatens to destroy both species.
8. Perfect for a rainy day this final instalment of Shrek is one of the funniest yet.

The embattled Duchess is helped out by streetwise alley cat Thomas O'Malley (Phil Harris) and his scat cat friends - a group of feline jazz musicians.
