Forever Marilyn Blu-ray Collection pouts its way into homes this July
Ah Marilyn Monroe, the beautiful blonde bombshell that set many of our dad or grandad's hearts a flutter, depending on your age. Well, great news fans of classic movies, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are releasing Forever Marilyn: The Blu-ray Collection on 23rd July.
Containing her four most famous films, this celebrates the life, the legend and the beauty of this iconic but troubled actress. Marking the 50th anniversary of the passing of this Hollywood legend, the set will carry a recommended retail price of £34.99. But we suspect this will drop pretty soon at major retailers, as it seems rather steep to us for four old films, classics they maybe.
Synopsis' are as follows...
In Some Like It Hot, two musicians witness a mob hit and flee the state in an all-female band disguised as women, but further complications set in.
How to Marry A Millionaire features three women, who set out to find eligible millionaires to marry, but find true love in the process.
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes follows two singers, best friends Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw, as they travel to Paris pursued by a private detective hired by Lorelei's fiancé's disapproving father to keep an eye on her, a rich, enamoured old man and many other doting admirers.
And lastly in, Seven Year Itch, when his family goes away for the summer, a so far faithful husband is tempted by a beautiful neighbour.
