BBC accounce The London 2012 Olympic Games DVD for October
We are certainly going to miss the amazing summer we've had here in the UK, what with an amazing Paralympic Games bringing it to a close, but all is not lost. We have Blu-rays and DVDs of the whole event to look forward to now!
BBC Wordwide are releasing The London 2012 Olympic Games on both formats this 29th October. Containing a director's cut of the opening ceremony, over half an hour of extras will include a rendition of Edward Elgar’s Nimrod by the London Symphony Orchestra’s On Track programme and highlights from the pre-ceremony performance by singer Frank Turner.
The RRP will be £29.99 for the DVD and £34.99 for the Blu-ray.
