The Man with No Lands
Introduction
Glen Wool has been around a bit. He has performed stand up all over the world - India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Holland, Canada, America, Sweden Indonesia, Norway, Bahrain and Denmark. There are some usual suspects there, as well as some slightly more random comedy destinations. You may have spotted him on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, or in the stand up slot on Russell Howard’s Good News Extra. Or perhaps in some radio appearances or at one of the UK music festivals where comedy can be found nowadays.
Glenn began his comedy career in Vancouver in 1995. He moved to London in 1998 and quickly became a star of the London and international comedy circuit. He has been a regular at the Edinburgh festival, and you may have spotted him this year as part of “The Return of the Lumberjacks” with Stewart Francis and Craig Campbell as they returned to performing together after 15 years...
No Lands Man was his show from 2011, revolving around an incident at Indonesian customs, and with stories spinning out from the pivotal moment where he finds himself being probed...
Video + Audio
You know what to expect here. Standard widescreen transfer, standard stereo soundtrack. A man on stage, talking for an hour plus. No prizes for artistic direction, just listen to a man doing what he does best.
Extra Features

Conclusion
A funny man in fine form, Glenn Wool is captured here at his best. He veers between Iron Maiden, Beavers, and that incident at customs with ease. From throw away one-liners, to more subtly crafted jokes, Wool has mastered his craft, and is on fine form.
If you saw this show, this is the perfect record of it. If you missed it, here’s your chance to catch someone who you won’t see on TV very much, a good comedian doing his best work. Probably not one for the family to sit round on Xmas day though...
