War drama Lore comes to Blu-ray and DVD this May
Everyone likes a bit of lore don't they? Well okay, some role players might, but this isn't the same thing at all. Artificial Eye Home Entertainment have announced the release of Cate Shortland directed drama Lore for 27th May on DVD and Blu-ray.
Starring Saskia Rosendahl, this arrives with a making-of documentary, interview with the director and trailer, amongst its extras. The recommended retail price will be £15.99 for the standard definition release and £19.99 for the HD version.
Synopsis and trailer follow...
May 1945: Stranded with her younger siblings after their Nazi parents are imprisoned during the dying days of WWII, the young Lore leads the remains of her family across war-torn Germany. Among the chaos of a defeated nation, Lore encounters Thomas, a young Jewish refugee who begins to follow and help them.
Lore finds her fragile reality shattered by feelings of both hatred and desire for Thomas, and as the consequences of her parent’s actions and beliefs slowly become apparent, she must begin to face the darkness within herself.
