Anime Review Roundup
Just the reviews this week, although all things being equal, some major juicy bit of news will pop-up as soon as I click submit. First up was my review of One Piece: Collection 4, as Manga close out their first batch of One Piece releases. Fortunately for fans of the show, they announced the licence for the next batch before we even got to Part 3, and Part 5 will be out early in 2014. As for Part 4, this is where we meet the overwhelmingly cute Tony Tony Chopper, the blue-nosed reindeer in a top hat. And you know? It’s my favourite part of the story so far.
Then it was time for some moody, atmospheric, bloody, gory horror. This is usually where I exit the room, and for the first few episodes that urge was there. Then the first victim died... All the best horror movies have countless teens dying in increasingly inventive ways, and Another: The Complete Series takes that cliché to heart, but it has a seriously engaging storyline as well, an intriguing mystery that you simply have to get to the bottom of.
One Piece: Collection 4 came out on DVD on 11th of November from Manga Entertainment. MVM release Another: Collection on DVD today.
