Review for Time & Time Again
Well I've reviewed a number of books on Reincarnation over the years, most of which have had a number of case histories from different parts of the world all pulled together to form the basis of the author's contention that we all survive the grave and live again, albeit in a different body and sometimes a different country. This book is different, very different for it is one man's search which took him from researching his family tree, to finding out that a family member had re-incarnated. Never in the author's wildest dreams did he think for one minute that his search would bring him to a climax of astonishment which would bring to bear in his mind, that our life right now, is not the only one we'll be living!
The author lives in South West England and an episode back in 1979 drew him into a world of research which encompassed trips all over the UK to find out what had really happened to his father's mother. This book is his search. We learn at the start of the book that the author already has a belief (if not hope) in reincarnation. The author's grandmother had died 10 years before he was born and he never would have thought for one minute as he was growing up, what a massive part and role she would play in his later life. And then one day he saw a vision of a woman in his Epping study which came out of a bright light. He wasn't frightened and he knew that this was significant and this experience was basically the catalyst which eventually drew him to find out who this lady was. It soon became apparent that this lady was his grandmother (Alice).
The book continues with visits by the author to mediums, family and friends of the family, all in an effort to try and find out more about his grandmother as he knew that there were things that she wanted him to become aware of, things that he really needed to know and things that needed to be 'sorted'.
He was soon was building up a family portrait and the paper trail of facts and information that the author managed to retrieve over the years, leads to a final amazing revelation, a revelation that takes the subject of Reincarnation to a whole new level. For me personally as a reviewer I've never read a book which has such a twist within it. The psychic element provided by the three mediums and what they have to say, is equally astonishing and it draws from the inevitable fact that Reincarnation is a provable fact.
This book will never convince the hard nosed sceptics out there, they have already made their minds up come what may. But for those that are not quite sure then this book is a must read. In part it can be a hard read and you have to stay with it and read it carefully, I say this because there are a lot of facts to take in, I mean we are dealing with family members here, so trying to keep up with someone's family members does take a bit of remembering, that said (which is understandable) this, as I've pointed out, is one of those books that comes at you from another angle and it's an angle which for me was as exciting as it was intriguing.
For me personally I don't know if Reincarnation truly is a fact, it may well be. I'm aware that your father in this life may have been your brother (or even your sister) in a previous life! It's a BIG subject, make no bones about it. And if you haven't read any books on reincarnation before, please start with this one and move onto the books of Ian Wilson, (type his name and reincarnation into Google)
So in closing, I'll finish by saying buy this book, for if you have any lingering doubts as to Reincarnation being real, this book will dispel them and propel you into an understanding that we (or many of us) come back again. As to why we would want to do so, well we'll leave that one for another day.
