Synopsis:
Based on the best-selling manga by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata (Hikaru no Go), the supernatural thriller DEATH NOTE tells the story of Light Yagami, a high school student who suddenly finds himself holding the power of life and death in his hands in the form of the Death Note. DEATH NOTE VOLUME 2 picks up with episode 9 of the series as the genius detective known only as 'L' goes undercover as a university student in order to get close to the enigmatic Light Yagami. The mysterious murders are continuing, but with a difference… there appears to be a second 'Kira' at work!

Light agrees to help L in luring out the copycat killer, hoping to divert suspicion from himself by doing so. But Light is surprised to discover that this new Kira has an ability even he lacks!
