Synopsis:
Based on the comic books by Tsutomu Takahashi Alive is a live-action sci-fi horror-fest. Tenshu (Hideo Sakaki) survives his own execution and then is given the choice between another death sentence or submitting himself for a serious of bizarre and dangerous experiments by the prison officials. Unsurprisingly perhaps he choses the latter, and finds himself stuck in a cell with a convicted rapist and a woman infected with an alien that can move with ease from host to host at any moment of extreme anger. Kitamura has just directed the forthcoming Midnight Meat Train starring Vinnie Jones.
