Synopsis:
UFC 104 is headlined by a huge light-heavyweight title showdown between Brazilian aces Lyoto Machida (c) and Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua.

Machida knocked out the previously unbeaten Rashad Evans to capture the championship, and his record remains unblemished. He is largely considered to be the most elusive striker in the whole of the UFC, and he also holds the extraordinary record of having never lost a round in the UFC.

It would seem the odds are not stacked in Shogun's favour, but the despite a loss to Forrest Griffin in his debut fight inthe UFC, the Chute Box fighter has put together solid victories over Mark Coleman and former light-heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell.

In his PRIDE days the Brazilian Rua was considered the most dangerous 205 pounder in the world, the question is, can he topple 'The Dragon' and return to the top of the pile?

Also on the card is an interesting bout between highly regarded heavyweight Cain Valasquez and former IFL veteran Ben Rothwell.

Valasquez has destroyed every opponent in his path during his rise up the heavyweight ranks but in Rothwell he fights his most dangerous and experienced opponent yet.

Ultimate Fighter Two winner Joe Stevenson meets Spencer Fisher in what could be another exciting bout in a stacked card.
