Synopsis:
Roger Corman produced and directed this sci-fi B movie classic in 1957 and it is a great example of the resourceful groundbreaking productions that became his trademark.

An alien from the planet Davana is sent to Earth to replenish the stocks of blood which his people need to survive.

Known to earthlings as Paul Johnson he can kill his prey just by staring at them with his pupil-less eyes and consequently spends lots of the film wearing wraparound sunglasses to avoid nasty accidents.

How can the world save itself when there are plenty more volunteers on Davana ready to take Johnson's place should he fail to keep the blood flowing.
