    Synopsis:
    One of the BBC’s earliest domestic sitcoms, Meet the Wife affectionately dissects the trials and comforts of mid-life marriage after the kids have flown the nest.

    Written by Ronald Chesney and Ronald Wolfe, and running to five seasons from 1960 to 1966, the series was immortalised in The Beatles’ ‘Good Morning, Good Morning': “It’s time for tea and Meet the Wife”.
