Your Opinions and Comments
Picture quality is absolutely fine and the music score is great and fits in well with this teen film.
As for bonus material, the behind the scenes video and the trailer are good but the deleted scenes (about 5 or 6) have to be some of the best I`ve seen, some being funnier than many scenes actually in the film. But all in all, there just aren`t enough extras to give the disc top marks.
OK this isn`t a cinema classic or anything, but if you want a good laugh and a DVD that you`ll watch more than once then I highly recommend Scary Movie to you.
The video transfer (my disk contained only the fullscreen version) is good. There are no compression signs and the dark scenes are rendered nicely.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is flat. I couldn`t notice any activity in the surrounds.
The menus are all still.
The extras include a behind the scenes look and 6 deleted scenes (some funny, some - less).
Bottom line - rude and shallow but works great, especially if you`ve seen "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "The Matrix".
