    Synopsis:
Tommy is a ten year old boy who`s father is lost in WWII, presumed dead. Tommy`s mother recently re-married holiday camp worker Frank Hobbs and on the night they are supposed to consummate their marriage, his father returns. There is a fight resulting in the death of his father. Tommy witnesses this and as a result turns deaf, dumb and blind.

Whilst his mother and step-father search for various dubious means to return his senses such as drugs, cultism and medicine, Tommy immerses himself in his one true love, pinball machines, of which he becomes a master and messish-like figure to many.

With arguably the finest soundtrack to a film ever, a musically perfect cast, including a cameo from jack Nicholson, this is truly a classic and totally individual musical.
