Your Opinions and Comments
Barrymore gives an exceptionally good performance and Zahn is also quite good in his role.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs and the color palettes used fit the decade during which the story is told in (50`s, 60`s and 80`s).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is adequate. There`s almost no usage of the surrounds, but this does not get in the way of the story.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary by Barrymore and an extensive behind the scenes look (including interviews with the real Beverly and Jason).
Bottom line - a good drama that will keep you glued to the screen for its entire 131 minutes.
