Your Opinions and Comments
Washington gives a very good performance (contrary to his abysmal performance in "Training Day" which got him the Oscar), but the script is simply "too good to be true".
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs and the visuals are quite pleasing. Most of the action takes place inside a single room with the exception of the (visually stunning) opening scene.
The DTS and DD 5.1 soundtracks are both good. The surrounds are used occasionally, but most of the action comes from the front channels. Again, the audio in the opening scene is superb.
The menus are all animated with sound.
The extras on this Infifilm disk include a commentary by the crew, a behind the scenes look, a documentary about organ donation, an information subtitles track, 6 deleted and extended scenes and some cool DVD-ROM content (pictures, wallpapers, script, etc.).
Bottom line - with a strong message against the current health insurance situation in the USA, this is a strong (yet not believable) drama.
