Your Opinions and Comments
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs at all. The animation (partially hand drawn and partially CG) is awesome. Notice the reference to "The Lion King" in one of the scenes (when the HELL will Disney release "The Lion King" on DVD???).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is great. The surrounds are used quite frequently. The disk contains 7 additional dubbed soundtracks (French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Hebrew and Greek). It`s a cool feature, especially if you are into foreign languages.
Once again - sigh - in the best tradition of Disney, the disk has no extras whatsoever.
Bottom line - a great movie with lots of hilarious moments and great sound.

It`s been nearly two years since I reviewed this movie, and all I could remember was just how funny at was back then.
Well, it`s still is, the second time around.
James Woods does a superb job in portraying the bad guy.
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs to be spotted and the animation looks just great.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is awesome. The surrounds are nicely used and the songs add a lot to the movie`s rhythm. Several songs use puns often, which is a good thing and makes the movie suitable for grownups as well. :)
The lack of extras is truly annoying.
Bottom line - yet another great movie from Disney, and a big "Hurray" to Disney for finally releasing "The Lion King" on DVD later this year.
