    I do not agree with the review of the new Prisoner DVD. Obviously this person has only ever watched one episode, and decided not to watch any more. Agreed, throughout the series there were a few episodes off poor quality, but any fan will tell you that to enjoy it properly you need to stick with it.
    I`m thrilled Prisoner has finally come out on DVD in the UK - it should have been released years ago. For the reviewer to criticise it in this way is both unfair and unnessesary. The sets might not have been the best, but the actors on Prisoner were the best I have ever seen - I seriously mean that - far better than the ones on show in our soaps in the UK today. Prisoner was great television, and continues to be one of the most popular shows ever, and the only TV series to make it to the Westend stage for a Musical, which toured the UK twice in the late 90`s.
