Your Opinions and Comments
The plot is quite straight forward. Paul Walker and his mate Tyrese are forced by police to go undercover and work for a colombian cartel. Already undercover is Agent Eva Mendes, who helps them along the way. Their job for the cartel is to deliver millions in drug money from one place to another with their wheels. Their job for the police is to get the money and bust the cartel. But when there is money like that involved, people begin to have their own agendas. What are they gonna do?
The picture is reasonably sharp and rich in colour and detail. There are quite a lot of night scenes and these are screened well with no major drop in quality. The sound is quite awesome. The movie relies alot on the sound of the car engine and there are a lot of action sequences, for which the sound is well defined on the dvd. There is some good use of the surrounds.
Extras. There are quite a few. You can choose a different menus from the car you choose when the dvd first loads up e.g Brians Car leads to a different menu to that of sukis car. Also there is a whole new prelude to the movie that shows us what happened between the first movie and this movie. I found this fascinating to watch but was put off by the lack of any dialogue. There are some music videos, standard making ofs and a commentary.
An average movie on an energy charged dvd.
