Your Opinions and Comments
Well, these were all understatements!!!
The movie turned out to be one of the most enjoyable movies of the year, with a great cast, witty lines, cool script and lots of visuals and sound effects to support all of the above.
Depp steals each and every scene he appears in. Yeah!!!
The video transfer is superb. There are no compression signs at all, the colors are beautifully saturated and the special effects are simply mind-blowing.
The DTS and DD 5.1 soundtracks are both explosive. The surrounds are heavily used and create an awesome sound envelope throughout the movie. The battle scenes sound simply amazing.
The menus are all beautifully animated with sound.
The extras include 2 full commentaries and 2 other partial commentaries, about an hour of a behind the scenes featurette, an extensive explanation about the special effects, a documentary about Disneyland, a picture gallery, 4 storyboards, 19 (!!!) deleted scenes, an interactive game, some bloopers and DVD-ROM content which includes a script, storyboards, a huge picture gallery, an interactive game and some special effects interaction. Rarely do extras reach that kind of depth and extensiveness.
Bottom line - this is a truly great movie and with such an amazing 2 disc set, this is a must buy. Enjoy!!!
