    Your Opinions and Comments

Someone out there called it a `Dead Poets Society floating out on the sea`. Hummm, I can`t agree as this is more than that. Ridley Scott has given the film a big dramatic look. Setting it apart from many other `coming of age` films.

There are times when it struggles to get to the point but when it gets there, it is, as they say well worth the wait! The storm or as it should be called `White Squall`, as in the title, is a thing of visual dreams, 10 out of 10 for it`s realisation!

The cinematography is out of this world, Hugh Johnson has pictured and framed the `open seas` like no one else, I can only imagine that Ridley operated on this gig.

This film, is impressive. The DVD `R1` is the best bet, the `R2` is only 1: 1:33, a big let down.

Ridley has done it again, buy this film.
