Your Opinions and Comments
Despite several plot holes and a rather uninspiring script, the movie manages to remain somewhat interesting throughout.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs and the usage of blues is very appropriate for a movie that deals with a submarine and the sea.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good. The surrounds are used throughout the movie and help create the claustrophobic atmosphere in the submarine.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary by the director and the crew, a behind the scenes featurette and 3 deleted scenes.
Bottom line - a rent-once thriller with a nice atmosphere and a nice presentation on the disc.
