Synopsis:
Happy Hour is a modern-day New York story about a literary superstar, Ryan Tulley (Anthony LaPaglia), who has squandered his talent and fallen out with his father (Robert Vaughn) through his addiction to alcohol. His nights are spent drowning his sorrows with his best friend, Daniel (Eric Stoltz), at their favourite bar. There, Tulley meets the woman who will not only see past his acerbic, cynical exterior, but also grow to love him. She`s Natalie (Caroline Feeney), a strong-willed school-teacher who can match Tulley drink for drink and quip for quip. Fuelled by alcohol, laughter and passion, their romance blossoms. But drink is taking its toll on Tulley`s health. A man for whom time is running out, he now has one aim: to complete his long-unfinished novel. So starts the final chapter, which will result in a new and unexpected future for Natalie - and a strange request for Daniel.
