Your Opinions and Comments
The story is well-known - an evil witch casts a spell on a young princess, and 16 years later, a brave prince rescues his beloved princess and they live happily ever after. :)
The video transfer is ok. This is a full screen version of the movie, and I`m not sure it`s the original aspect ratio. The picture is mostly clear, with the exception of the opening credits, which look truly grainy. The animation is pretty simple and not too impressive (yet - charming).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is pretty flat. The surrounds are hardly ever used, yet the disc includes additional dubbing in Norwegian, Danish and Hebrew, which is cool for the youngsters.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a behind the scenes featurette, an interactive picture gallery, 2 interactive games and 2 storyboards.
Bottom line - a nice little gem by Disney is presented on a decent disc. Rent it.
