Your Opinions and Comments
To say I was knocked off my feet? Well, I wasn`t. It`s a lovely movie. But that`s about it.
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs and the colors are nicely saturated. The animation is mostly hand-drawn, but a few CG scenes can be spotted. Those scenes obviously fall far from today`s CG extravaganza.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good. The enhanced theater mix does the job with quite a few surround effects. A DD 5.1 Hebrew soundtrack is also included, for the kids` sake.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include 4 deleted songs, 2 deleted scenes, 3 music videos, 2 commentaries, an information channel, 3 interactive games, a 2-hours behind the scenes featurette, several storyboards and a picture gallery.
Bottom line - a cute movie with nice voice performances and a great set of extras, but far from its so-called masterpiece status.
