Synopsis:
The Game is what happens when high-powered businessman Nicholas Van Orton (Michael Douglas), receives the birthday gift of a lifetime from his wayward younger brother Conrad (Sean Penn). What Van Orten receives is entry to a new form of entertainment, The Game. It proves to be an all-consuming contest with only one rule: there are no rules. By the time Van Orten realises he is in, it is already too late to get out.
Master of control no longer, Van Orten struggles against opponents real and imagined while his once carefully ordered life is thrust into rapid-fire chaos. On this roller-coaster descent into paranoia, betrayal and self-discovery, winning is not the object. But staying alive is.
