Synopsis:
`Metropolitan` takes an introspective, touching and humourous look at the exclusive debutante scene in Manhattan, New York City.

Tom is an ordinary middle-class Princeton student who is unexpectedly adopted by an elite social circle of debs referred to as "The Sally Fowler Ratpack". Tom is intrigued by a ritual of glamorous balls and late-night dinner parties which conflict with his socialist principles.

Tom finds affections divided between Audrey, a new acquaintance from the ritzy Manhattan deb scene who happens to have a serious crush on him, and Serena - a former girlfriend to whom he is still attracted. Tom discovers the upper class isn`t half as bad as he originally thought...
