Filled with endless laughs and unbelievable sight gags, this delightfully outlandish romantic comedy is a hysterical smash hit. Still suffering from a high school crush on Mary (Cameron Diaz) the nerdy, angst-driven Ted (Ben Stiller) tracks her down thirteen years later with the help of a sleazy private investigator (Matt Dillon) who also falls for her.
Unfortunately, both men discover that virtually every man who sets his eyes on the dazzling Mary finds himself head over heels in love and determined to win her hand. The wacky Farrelly Brothers (`Dumb & Dumber`, `Kingpin`) have pushed the envelope again, creating another outrageous movie experience guaranteed to make you laugh and keep you coming back for more.

Your Opinions and Comments
Stiller and Diaz are doing a great job in their roles and will make you laugh for sure.
The video transfer is very good. The picture is constantly clear and the colors are just right. Besides, even a bad transfer (which is not the case here) could not prevent Diaz from looking so damn hot... . :)
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is regular. The surrounds are hardly ever used, but that doesn`t matter that much since the movie isn`t about sound effects.
The menus are animated with sound and pay tribute to Puffy the dog.
The extras include a commentary, a hilarious behind the scenes featurette, a music video and a karaoke version of that music video (again, featuring Puffy, the dog).
Bottom line - a great cast and tons of laughs in this movie. Way to go, Puffy!

***********************************************************
Three and a half years after reviewing the movie, I watched it for the second time.
What can I say - it`s not as half as funny as it was the first time. The humor is pretty average and the acting isn`t that great.
Still, the movie managed to preserve some of its charm. But only some.
While my original ratings were 8, 8 and 8 (for content, extras and overall), my updated ratings are slightly lower.
Bottom line - despite quite a few flaws, still, a sort of cool movie. :)
