after the original problem with the sound on my dvd player, i took it back to argos who replaced it. no worries. plays region 2. plays region 1.

i tried gettin this dvd player from argos a few week back now. they gave me a alba 104, which seems surprisingly multi region straight from the box!

i tried gettin this dvd player today from argos. i was given a alba dvd104. im told its the same model. it SEEMS to play region 1`s, but every now and then i get gaps in the sound. then when i tried a region 2 i had the same probs. this is with no hack added, litterally straight from the box.

im probably gonna take it back on monday and get another, but has anyone else had any problem like this??

im thinkin of gettin this dvd player from comet for £99.99, but i need a multi region dvd player. have you tried this m8 :
1. Press the Menu button on your remote control
2. Press the buttons 1, 6 and then 7 on your remote control in order, one at a time
3. Press the Mute button on your remote control
4. Exit the Menu and insert the disc to play
tell me if ya have any luck.
