Samsung HT Z210 Hack worked but only for so long, please help

Hi I have a Samsung HT z 210, it an amp with dvd player in it. I did the following hack for it to play multi region disc about 9 months ago :

turn on player with remote press enter on the remote press 8 4 2 6 and 9 on the remote press enter on the remote the player will power off switch on the power from the remote the player is now region free

Ii worked a treat but now won`t play region 2 discs at all, just region 1. I googled this and I couldnt find a soluation but I did read that is has happened to others as if the hack doesnt last long term. I can find how to change it back to working but it`s really really annoying. I was on the net all night last night trying to sort this with no success.

I have always found the answers to all dvd problems on this site so am posting this to see if anyone else has had the same problems and if anyone knows how to fix it.

Just so you know I have tried the same hack again above to try and re activate it but ni success at all.

Please help

Thank you in advance

Adam

matsui 120- does it play vcd`s and mosty DVD-R

There is a dvd out there that says its a DVD-R disc.

I buy alot of dvds from amercia since I have the region hack for the matsui 120 this is the first DVD-R i have come across. I have read that most standard dvd player of any kind made after 1999 play DVD-Rs. So if I did order it, I should have no problems. I have helped a few people I hope I posting how to tape from dvd to vhs using the matsui 120, so I hope before chancing it I would search for the answer on here, please get back to me, someone.

Thanks

RE: How do I disable macrovision on a matsui dvd 120?

You need a computer first off with a video Capture card.

You have to plug your video into the video in on your capture card and the sound in on your sound card, using the red, white and yellow jacks on the back of the dvd player.

Then you connect your video recorder to a tv set. Plug the video and sound out on your computer to the video and sound in on your video,
Once this is done you active the capture software with your capture card and just let it run through so you can see the picture on your computer which will be a little slower than what it looks like on the tv.

You might have to turn your tv up and mess with the leads on your connection so you get the sound coming out of the tv. I had to unplug my speakers on my computer so that the tv is where the computers sound comes out from.

How this works is,this way it keeps the private device on the computer and gives you a clear signal. If you tape it in short play since its a vdvd its taken from its better than a normal vhs bought in the shops.

Its hard to explain but I hope you can make sense of this, I could demstrate it better but this works for copying videos of good quailty too you just need a video player and recorder.

If you have any questions e-mail me on : 02rotcerideht[at]moc.liamtoh I hope you manage this and if you know the vcd hack fro this model let me know.
