It`s worth it for a laugh, I won`t tell you what happens to the the cheese throwing stars, needless to say it`s fairly funny

I`ve got some pitchforks.

RE: Predator DTS Region 1 £10.53

Fecker, I had a DTS laserdisc and now I have a DTS dvd player, and a 6.1 surround amp. However I`d never toss about rebuying and selling titles just so I could get closer to "what the director intended me to see/hear".

Directors ultimately intend their films to be seen in cinemas (although that may change).

Regardless of whether you sell or keep Predator, it`s the movie company that has ultimately won. It has sold two versions of the same film. They`ll keep sh@#ting on the public like this while the public let them. Just look at how many DTS discs are available in the uk.

RE: Predator DTS Region 1 £10.53

Is it because you want to attain such an `immersive angle` I`ve seen you running about the woods of a weekend covered in mud thinking you`ll be safe from the predator?

You`ve got to ask yourself the question "for who`s benefit are these advances?"

You obviously do not understand the differences between Dolby digital and DTS as you compare the technologies to LP and CD. (i.e. analogue to digital!). For your benefit therefore I`d say they`re slight at best. Not worth rebuying a film for.

As for the betamax coment, I had a Panasonic A100 when you were still looking in HMV thinking "24.99 for a film on CD?"

RE:

Well said Mac1, when and where is your mum going to take you on holiday Kid B?

RE: Predator DTS Region 1 £10.53

No really, I mean what is the point of buying it again and more importantly wasting time telling us that you`re going to buy it again just for DTS sound and a longer cut? Fine for us who don`t already own the film then it`d be a bargin, as it stands you`ve paid more than you would have done had you bought it in HMV by buying it twice.

You need to take a deep look at yourself, will listening to the film in DTS make you a better person? Will seeing some extra gore really add to the enjoyment of the film?

There will always be bigger and better things to buy, new versions, new formats, Will you ever be satisfied with the film? The fact is that money would have been better spent on a new film you`d never seen before giving you brain something to stimulate it, rather than spoon feeding it the same old rubbish only at a higher frequency.

Fine buy a film twice just for extras, just as long as you understand that you`re partly responsible for hollywood churning out the same rubbish and thereby suffocating the movie industry.

What`s the point of buying it again?

You already know what happens at the end???

RE: Money for nothing

I`d rather be destitute than actually handle that piece of turd

RE: I`m famous - well sort of...

I had a slash next to Eric Cantona in knutsford services, I`ve also told Sarah Cox to f%^k off at the love parade last year.

RE:

I`ve seen it!

It`s an American ripoff of American ninja 4, with some "comedy" thrown in. I saw it in a train station in ohio when a train was delayed.

It`s worth getting for the cheese throwing star scene alone.
