can someone supply hack for dvd payer phillips 632 . have tried the usual phillips hack with 4 in 1 and it does not work .

PHILLIPS 623 DVD PLAYER

Hope someone can help i have just got a phillips 623 dvd player and have connected it thru the the video and it has a black and white picture. it is an ntsc dvd , i used to have a grundig player which connected with same leads and in the same way came up colour , can some one help

to make it a bit easier , press set up then 4 then go to signal test . you will see to bars witch should be fully grey but you will find that there are blue . but the dish in the best position possible , you may see some other dishes around you on other houses this will give a good idea of position , slacking the dish securing nuts so the dish can move if you tap it then very gentle tap it into position you will see how you are doing on the tv screen on the signal test.

I have an ao3 and an a04 , both writers are great , the ao4 reads the dvd 2x and the ao3 reads 1x. you must use the right discs for them cause there is a lot of crap out there do not use bulkpaq , traxdata and datasafe are the best and cheap they range from 89 pence to 2 pounds.

If your player is only a vcd player it is not capable of playing dvd as it has not got a dvd drive .

AIWA VIDEO PLAYER

I hope someone can help , i have an aiwa video fx8200 and i had a power cut and the pin number came up to use the vcr and i forgot it . i tried to put it in three times and now the video is locked can someone please help

the grundig quad lnb will work with all sky digi sat dishes , any indipendant installer will help you. but go to the yellow pages in your area and look for sky approved installer , they are usally very good but not the crap service you get from skt in home services

the princo white top general use work well on the ps2 , and the data safe gold top , the problem being is that the lower priced ones are hard to get . when i say hard to get that means every time you go to the silicon group they have diffrent low cost dvd rs on sale. the ones that are generally available are the data safe blue tops which sometimes work on the ps2 and sometimes dont. as the last post advises the only true good working dvdr are the dearer ones.

Im an x sky tech adviser . thats right one of the arse holes it takes ages to get thru to on the phone , there is a way of checking what code works with your remote by putting a code in . also if you go to the sky interactive and look under technical you will find all the codes that are not listed in your manual and all the up todate one as well.

matshita dvd rom sr 8585

i have had for a while a dvd rom listed above but it is region locked , it requires a firmware upgrade which i downloaded from a site listed on one of the forum posts , but the problem is that it requires to be loaded in real dos mode . i have a new computer which has a windows based dos on windows 98 se and it will not let me load it can someone help.
