actually steve that isnt true of pioneer players anymore...
a lot of the new players such as the dv-340/343 can be hacked via the remote control.

i also own the dv-444 and i have to say i am pretty impressed with it..
all i need to know is if it is possible to make it multiregion via the remote control like the dv-340/343 is.
