RCA 5220 Hack. Anyone?
They say US players are not hackable. They have to be! Anyone know the hack for an RCA. I just found a reconditioning on a page in France, but I live in South America and it just isn`t worth it. It would be cheaper to buy another unit.
RE: pioneer 525
Remote Hack is available and very simple. Just follow these short steps. Turn the player on without a DVD. All comands are to be carried out on your remote. Press set up. Press Right Green Arrow until GENERAL is selected. Press Down Arrow Once. Press Display. Press Condition Memory Button, Select Region you want (1,2,3,4), press setup.
All steps have to be repeated to change region. Last region selected is stored in memory, but procedure has to be repeated every time you want to change regions. Enjoy
RE: Info on hacks for US players?
Sorry to contradict my friend above, but there are remote hacks for the Pioneer. The dv 525 is totally remote crackable. Just turn the machine w/o a DVD and play set up, press right key until general is displayed, press down arrow once, press select, press condition memory, and enter the region you want. PRESTO. That is all.
RE: I Need a hack for RCA 5220P Region 1 Player
Thanks for the tip,but I am a bit lost. What is a chipping company, and how may I contact them? Where can I find them?
I Need a hack for RCA 5220P Region 1 Player
I just bought an RCA 5220P in the US for under $200, but Live in a Zone 4. How can I crack the code to program multizone. I read many hacks, does anyone now which hack applies to this player? What componets does RCA use. I also have the same problem for a second DVD player I bought from oritron a company from Hong Kong.
