The only way I found to upgrade my Sharp DVD - DV620 player
to multi-region was a company called Techtronics at Katesbridge
near Peterborough cost £ 85.00 plus vat (£100.00 in total)

I toom my dvd player to them and it was upgraded within 1 Hour

I found their staff very helpful and friendly

The only pproblem they are very difficult to contact by telephone
you can order your upgraded to be done on their website
www.techtronics.com by credit card which is the same price I paid they will collect your dvd player and re-deliver to you upgraded.

I have played multi-region dvds on my player since and have not experienced any problems

RE: sharp dvd

I have a sharp 620 which plays NTSC and NTSC PAL. I am looking for a hack for this model. Could you please help? If I have to have a disc based upgrade could you please give me details on how and where I can get this done and how much it will cost.

I have been told there is no hack for this dvd player the player has to be chipped. Have been quoted £100 plus VAT from following website www.techtronics.com.

Trying to find cheaper way - if you find cheaper alternative please let me know.
