Who do you recommend to upgrade?
I am lost for who I can trust to purchase a DVD multi-region player from. Different suppliers mentioned on here offer different levels of upgrade.
Techtronics seems to be the most comprehensive, but has been heavily critised on here and newgroups. They seem to be the only people offering auto and manual region selection, is that important?
Who would you recommend?
RE: You decide: Sony 32FX20 Vs Philips PW6515 Vs ....
That`s very encouraging indeed! Since the model is discontinued I really worried that it means it is inferior in some way.
The unit itself does look a bit dated, but it is the picture that matters most to me.
Does anyone else have experience of the Sony 32FX20?
RE: Who do you trust - Multi-region (premieravcentre.co.uk?)
Thanks for that, does anyone actually have experience of Premieravcentre.co.uk ?
Who do you trust - Multi-region (premieravcentre.co.uk?)
I am purchasing Sony DAV-S800 multi-region, Techtronics are nearly £100 more expensive than some other online retailers but my instinct is to trust their expertise more than others.
The retailer who seems less expensive is premieravcentre.co.uk, do you have any experience of them?
Who would you trust for multi-region adaptation?
As with all the newbies around here, really would welcome your experience.
Thanks.
You decide: Sony 32FX20 Vs Philips PW6515 Vs ....
Am comparing:
-Sony 32FX20
-Philips PW6515
-Toshiba 32Z13B
-JVC AV32 WFT1
There`s too much choice! Diff mags give each of them the thumbs up. If you have an experience of any of these models do please let me know what you think.
Most likely to go to Sony 32FX20 because have seen it for £700 which seems to be £300 less than it normally sells for on the net (can`t resist a bargain). It has been discountinued but does come with full warranty so don`t know if that should concern me.
Would appreciate your experiences with these models, the Sony in particular.
Thanks!

Lowest cost 32" flat screen
I am looking to get DVD home cinema system and nice flat screen TV. I am thinking that 32" would be nice, my flat is not so big, but I feel that it is worth the additional investment to stretch to 32".
I have discounted 100mhz, and since I am getting a surround sound system the sound quality of TV is unimportant. Any personal recommendations for the cheapest 32" flat screens available worth investing in?
I`d appreciate your input, I`m a DVD virgin!
Thanks
Sony DAV-S800
Hey guys,
I`m planning to get the DAV-S800 DVD/home cinema kit. Looks cool and gets good reviews. Before I commit to what is a big expense for me, does anyone have any comments they wish to share, good or bad, about the unit?
Thanks!
