Pacific p-dvd 1000 Hack
Power on, open dvd tray and press 8421 on the remote.region 2 will appear on your screen.press enter to change regions 1 to 6 . pressing enter till 9 will make it region free.close tray.
note: i also found on this model it was necessary to change the TV system format found in the dvd set-up menu from Pal to Pal 60,otherwise some regions had characters moving like puppets!

open disc tray enter 8421 on remote.you should see region 2 on your osd ,press enter till it reads region 9. close tray. it is now multi-region.
