Goodmans GDVD124 Macrovision Hack?

Anyone know the Macrovision hack for this machine? Have tried the open draw press 7 then 4 method described in varying places but no good. It does take me to a menu where I can change the country code but there is nothing anywhere (first or second page) that says Macrovision. So I have been unable to change it from 1 to 0 as described elsewhere.

I really hope this works for a lot of people, the playability of the game may not be the best but looking at the prices HMV charges for most of their goods, they deserve a "loss" leader.

Got mine last November (£114.99) also got 5.1 speaker system form Novatech for just under £100. Really pleased with it and the sound is fanastic. I would recommend the Cyberhome ADL528 to anyone. Only draw back that I can see is you can not disable the macrovision with a hack, so you have to have a scart on the back of your T.V you can not run it via a VCR.

CDR`s 100 unbranded for £19.06 delivered

Bigpockets.co.uk have quite a few different types of CDR discs at very good prices. £12.99 for 100 + P & P is £5.75 and there is a 2.5% charge if you use a credit card. That works out at £19.06 for 100 or £32.37 for 200!!!

You say you can turn off the Macrovision by pressing 7, 6 and then the "SEL" button.

What is the "SEL" button, do you mean the setup button. If so I tried that and it does not access either the multi region or the macrovision.
Using the 1,9,9,9 hack described in other threads will access the multi region hack but not the Macrovision!

What am I doing wrong??
