Hacking Philips DVDR 880 - Important info.

Before hacking the above with `Multi-Region Hacks for Philips DVD-750` it is relevant to go into the "System" on the 880 and change from "Recorder" to "Player", then and only then will the hack work. When complete revert back to "Recorder". I wished I had remembered this info earlier as it would have saved a lot of time and less obscenities.

I have just purchased the above player and would like hack to multi-region, unfortunatley as a newby I could not understand your answer and would be grateful therefore if you explain more practically the procedure to enable me to hack.
