toshiba sd140e multi region hack

Is there a multi region hack for the toshiba sd140e dvd player. Just bought one and wish to make it play multi region discs. Any help would be appreciated.

maybe you don`t need to swap your tv....after doing upgrade on
my philips dvd710 it was playing black + white with region 1 discs.
silly me, all i had to do was swap over to the main scart input on
my tv( i have two ) and now it plays in colour. the main scart on the
tv has the RGB signal to it which is what you need for region 1 discs

i have used the hack for my philips 710 and found excatly the same problem, i can only view region 1 discs in black and white although region 2 in colour ok. any help??

region hack for philips dvd710

I followed the hack for philips 750 as advised. i bought a oneforall 6
remote control. set it up for a philips dvd, pressed magic button followed by code 085. put in 222 222 005 255 and then play button.
turned power off. i then played a region 1 dvd and yes it did play, but in black and white. i dont think i have done anything wrong as i tried
the same thing on my friends philips dvd player and his now plays the same region 1 disc in colour.
why does mine play in black and white?
