RE: Philips 722 + Region hack without oneforall ?
What does it matter if it adds to the counter if I only have to enter the code one time ?
Well, I suppose there is some meaning of this rc 6 but just can´t understand it :) Perhaps I should just accept it without asking :D
RE: Philips 722 + Region hack without oneforall ?
Well the DVD I copied to vhs was Macrovision Protected, that says in the movies covers. (CP Copy Protected Macrovision)
Probably these 5.xxx firmwares have macrovision disabled by default like they say in that webpage.
Pretty nice firmware because if I get that region off I can do anything :D
But could someone tell me what is the difference between getting on-screen display --------- by PLAY 159 and RC6 ?

Philips 722 + Region hack without oneforall ?
I found a region hack which doesn`t need oneforall remote for philips DVD750/755/950/955/956 only from:
http://www.home.zonnet.nl/jeroenverhaar/en/vervolgindex/dvdregiovrij/dvdregiovrij7595.htm
There were a line which said that you must type "Play 159" and then the on-screen display should show ----------- and my philips 722 showed it too.
Now I am wondering if the 722 would change to region free if I would type in the 222 222 005 255 code. Can anyone tell me would this work ? Or is this crack really only for DVD750/755/950/955/956 models ?
PS. My firmware version is "(c) Philips `00-`01 2.9.6 010515 P29 5.1.14" Gotta say that this is pretty nice firmware because it allows me to record the dvd`s in to vhs.
PSS. I have OneforAll 3 (URC-7530) and I tried to do the hack using it, didn´t worked. I programmed the 0539 to AUX button, does it matter ? other options would be TV and VCR. Is there a way to do the crack by this remote ?
