RE: Samsung SV-DVD1000

Wonder,
I reapplied the cold start as I describe in the following text (In a thread I posted ealier:
"Help !!!
I am residing in the USA. I bought there a Samsung DVD-1000.
As my European parents sent me a couple of zone 2 DVD`s, I bought a HIT305 chip from CCnow and installed it to no avail.
After, I tried the process described for DVD-1E. It did work by pressing both FF>> and FR<< once I had the Samsung DVD welcome screen. After this I had another screen with a choice of 6 languages. I typed 1 for English and all I got in return was a black screen and a player which went itself powered off, then refusing to play. OOPS!
I could come back to normal status by applying the end of the DVD-1 process, i.e. Open on the reader and Power/Standby on the remote.
I can reproduce this at will, while it is not effficient.
Has anybody a clue for successfully bridging the gap between the beginning and the end of a hack for the Samsung DVD-1000 ???
Your suggestions are more than welcome,
Ludovic"

RE: Samsung SV-DVD1000

Wonder,
I am residing in the USA. I bought a Samsung DVD-1000 combo in the USA. I tried your process. It did work once and I had then a green screen with a choice of 6 languages. This screen only stayed 5 seconds and I failed to answer before. Since I have tried to get this screen back without success. I would like to get a clue on how to get it back.
In the mean time, I unplugged the DVD hoping that some memory will be zeroed.
Regards,
Ludovic
