RE: LG 2330P Player Hack?

I recently heard a rumour from some small time shop that this player is in fact a Panasonic player of some kind, but it was placed in a Goldstar casing, i was then told that the only known hack as of yet would be to get it chipped from the shop but this would cost £120 also disabling the Macrovision for copying DVDs to tape as well.

RE: LG 2330P, Anybody know of a region hack?

I have just recently found out that woolworths are now selling this player instead of the proline, this could increase the players popularity as more people will want to find the hack. resulting in a higher demand for multi region compatability and then Goldstar should at least reveal region 1 compatability secrets.

I tried the region hacks mentioned and they have no effect at all, i am now at a loose end as i have some region 1 disks but i cant watch them.
If anyone can get a hack please post it as i would be ever so grateful
