Do you know if "opposite" is true ... playing back R2 DVDs on NTSC .. do they give jerky playback, like R1 on PAL ?

Manual for Lecson 900

Does anyone know if I can find an online manual for a Lecson 900 player ?

In particular I want to know (confirm) tha tit will play back to a Us NTSC television, and how to set this up.

Presumably on these the DVD itself is not NTSC or PAL, it is the player that determines the type of signal output ?

Any help welcome.
