RE: philips dvd can i remove the hack

Lee,

Thanks for the help, is there any easy way of checking to see if it is the "laser" or am I best just claiming on the house insurance??

Thanks

Neil

RE: philips dvd can i remove the hack

I have a problem with a DVD750 not playing a couple of films - I have tried to use some of the hacks but they don`t seem to work without a programmable remote, I have used this code but it has not reset it to region2.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Neil

Philips DVD750 Problems

Hi

I have a philips dvd750 set to multi-region I think, and it will not play back to disks, American Pie and Geri Halliwell`s Yoga both region 2.

I have had no joy from Philips, they want me to take it to a service centre saying it`s a hardware fault. I don`t think it is as all the other films are OK.

I have updated the firmware to 7.22 with on changes. Can this be back rev`d to 6.2?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Neil

RE: Need Help....Philips dvd 750

I have been told that if you hold down the stand-by button then switch the power on to the unit (at the mains) it should set it back to factory default.

Hope this helps
