RE: A.I as steaming pile of POO
There`s been better films, but also far worse (Don`t Say A Word)
Pioneer - NTSC Playback on PAL 60 TV
I had a Toshiba 100E which played NTSC films on a PAL 60 TV, but not on a PAL 50 TV.
My player was stolen, so I replaced it with a Pioneer 444 which also advises that it plays NTSC discs on a PAL 60 TV. Unfortunately, I`m still getting a black and white picture on my PAL 60 TV which worked with my Toshiba.
Other than buying a new NTSC TV, could anyone please advise if there is something I should be doing ?
RE: multi region code technics midi system
There is no code available.
Try www.dvdchips.co.uk. They may be able to advise you if the machine can be chipped.
RE: PIONEER 444 QUESTION......
Try this hack. It works on some of the earlier models, but not all.
If it does not work, the machine can be chipped. a good place to visit is www.dvdchips.co.uk.
Ensure no disc is in machine.
Press `setup`.
Right scroll until you get to `General`, then press `Enter`
Ensure `setup menu mode` is set to `Basic`.
Press `Display`. This should show the region your player is set to.
Then press `condition memory` followed by the region (1 to 6) that you wish
to change to.
Press `set up`.
NB/ This does NOT work on later models, but is worth trying out.
If it does not work, then contact and pay to have your machine chipped.
Repeat again to check this has worked.
