RE: New TV required - widescreen or otherwise ?

A couple of practical points to consider about the size of set to buy
1. the best viewing distance is supposed to be five times the screen diagonal - for a 32 inch set I`d have to knock a hole in the living room wall and watch from next door !
2. measure the doors in your house and think about how big the tv will be when delivered in its box. I got a 28 inch tv a few months ago and only just managed to get in into my living room. If I`d gone for the 32 inch version I`d have had to unpack it in the street.

My 28 inch is very heavy and I had to get a friend to help me lift it - I assume a 32inch set would be even worse.

LG with 10 dvd.s

the Argos spring leaflet lists the LG DVD4720 with ten dvd.s for £152.99.
It doesn`t look like the LG4710, and doesn`t appear on the LG website.
Does anybody know anything about this machine ?
Anybody bought this offer, if so is it any good, and what are the dvds ?

( I fancied the mico clasica, but I`ve given up hope of ever seeing one in Devon, so I`m looking for affordable alternatives )
