Found a VCD hack:
Press pause with cd tray empty
then "1 4 7 2"
Blue screen should appear on tv
press up 3 times
then press 5, 6 and code 4fe should be on screen
then press enter and then return
switch power off then back on and it should play vcd
Still looking for multiregion hack though.
