I would have to say that the only good bug was a dead bug and my last words as I saw the fiery earth engulf in flames would have to be

Chipped Sony player : can it play CD-R ?
Hi just had my sony dvd player chipped from techtronics, and was wondering will it now play VCD`S. And copied cd`s??
I have a cd-writer, and use cable to download movies of Kazza, if I burn one of these movies lets says Resident Evil onto a Recordable CD will it play in my machine?? or do you have to buy special cd`s??

Pacific 750
Well boys & girls after hearing alot of mixed reviews about this machine, I trotted down to my local Sainsburys to see if I could get my hands on one of there budget machines, low and behold - out of stock, so next stop was ASDA to get a Pacific, I was a little duvious handing over my £90 after hearing the reviews.
Unpacked it set it up, put Jay & Silent Bob Strike back in, was a little jerky to begin, changed Pal to NTSC and hey PRESTO, superb sound and a decent picture for £90, not as good picture as my sony player but then there is a price difference of £200 init.
So instead of forking out then £126 Techtronics where gonna charge me to have a mod chip in my Sony, not only have I saved £36 and not invalidated my warranty, I also have a machine downstairs now as well.
What i cant understand is why there is people moaning about no colour picture, real jerky pic and freezing up, as i`m no expert and managed to set it up and watch 4, region 1 dvd`s so far with no problems???????
cheers
Budget Players
Hi, I need quick help as i`m going to get a budget player that plays multi-region tonight.
I have heard mixed reviews on the Pacific 750, from ASDA or the Mico 20, from Sainsburys. Could anybody in the know give me a bit of information on them both, and which would be the better purchase?
And what is disabling MACRO all about as I`m a newbie.
thanx
